Vince McMahon Attempts To Revive The XFL

WWE chairman Vince McMahon sold 3.34 million shares of WWE stock in order to fund the XFL, NFL’s rival. The publicly traded company’s Securities and Exchange Commission filing states that this business decision is “to explore investment opportunities across the sports and entertainment landscapes, including professional football.” In case you did not know, the XFL is an NFL alternative that the WWE introduced but that ended after just one season, losing a lot of money for WWE and NBC.
