The moment of silence was held at 8:46 a.m, the exact time that American Airlines Flight 11 crashed into the north tower of the World Trade Center in Manhattan. Trump also attended a ceremony at the Pentagon. Vice President Mike Pence is attending a ceremony in Shanksville, Pennsylvania,
the site where United Airlines flight 93 crashed.
