In the final stretch for South Carolina, presidential candidate Bernie Sanders is getting support from a famous director who thinks he will ‘do the right thing’. Director Spike Lee endorsed Sanders in a one minuet ad in which he says “I know that you know that the system is rigged. For Too long we have given our votes to corporate puppets.” Lee goes on to say that he is is endorsing Sanders because of his consistent record of civil rights activism as well as his work on education and economic equality. The endorsement comes as both Sanders and Hillary Clinton seek Black support heading into the South Carolina primary Saturday. On Monday actor Danny Glover attended Sanders campaign events and Clinton recently rolled out ads narrated by actor Morgan Freeman.
