  1. *Interested to hear President Obama’s message to the people of Nigeria*
Hello. Today, I want to speak directly to you – the people of Nigeria.
Nigeria is a great nation and you can be proud of the progress you’ve made.
Together, you won your independence, emerged from military rule and
strengthened democratic institutions. You’ve strived to overcome division
and to turn Nigeria’s diversity into a source of strength. You’ve worked
hard to improve the lives of your families and to build the largest economy
    in Africa.
Now you have a historic opportunity to help write the next chapter of
Nigeria’s progress – by voting in the upcoming elections. For elections to
be credible, they must be free, fair and peaceful. All Nigerians must be
able to cast their votes without intimidation or fear.
So I call on all leaders and candidates to make it clear to their
supporters that violence has no place in democratic elections – and that
they will not incite, support or engage in any kind of violence – before,
during or after the votes are counted. I call on all Nigerians to
peacefully express your views and to reject the voices of those who call
for violence. And when elections are free and fair, it is the
responsibility of all citizens to help keep the peace, no matter who wins.
Successful elections and democratic progress will help Nigeria meet the
urgent challenges you face today. Boko Haram – a brutal terrorist group
that kills innocent men, women and children – must be stopped. Hundreds of
kidnapped children deserve to be returned to their families. Nigerians who
have been forced to flee deserve to return to their homes. Boko Haram wants
to destroy Nigeria and all that you have worked to build. By casting your
ballot, you can help secure your nation’s progress.
I’m told that there is a saying in your country – “to keep Nigeria one is a
task that must be done.” Today, I urge all Nigerians – from all religions,
all ethnic groups, and all regions – to come together and keep Nigeria one.
And in this task of advancing the security, prosperity and human rights of
all Nigerians, you will continue to have a friend and partner in the United
    States of America.

  2. WHY DON’T YOU SPEAK TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE??? TELL THEM YOU ARE SORRY FOR
STABBING THEM IN THEIR BACKS? HOW BOUT THAT MR. PRESIDENT…. DON’T TRUST
THE PEOPLE AROUND YOU.. PLEASE! THEY WILL DO YOU THE SAME WAY YOU DID
    “YOUR” PEOPLE!!!

  3. Unfortunately, this message will not do anything to change the minds of
Islamists in the north of the country who seem to have made up their minds
to kill people and rape women if their Islamist leader loses out. If
anything, Obama’s call for peace will only infuriate them and cause them to
be more violent than in 2011.

  4. Obama Come And Vote And Live With The One Nigeria Now Known As Zoological
Repulice Where Everyone Behave Like Animals, In Order Words You Can Also
Live With Boko Haram So That You Can Tell Them Your Speech… All We Need
is Biafra Nation To Be Restore….. All Hail Biafra!!!

  5. A touch message to all who can read and understand it what he say so for me
i call on every one that we are one and nothing will dived us all. God
    bless Nigeria.

  6. Wonderful message, but President Obama forgot to made mention of Corruption
    amongst Nigeria’s problem.

    Thank you for the care

  7. Too bad violence has already disrupted the elections so far and we know
that there will be lots of voting fraud going on…as a Nigerian..I have
zero confidence in either parties and it will be corruption as usual
    regardless of who wins.

  8. this message should circulate fast enough, lest our leaders incite the
oblivious ones to violence!!! we are nigerians, and we have no other place
    to go

  9. Isn’t it a shame that Obama had to take time out to address Nigerians to be
peaceful in the upcoming elections? I didn’t see a video of him address the
British or Germans on shunning violence in their elections.

Nigerians please be smart and wake up from your slumber. how long do we
want to sleep for lazy bums!!! These politicians do not care about you or
me. They do not care if we die or live during the elections. they only care
about themselves and most care about their immediate families also. they
use us for elections, dump us after and continue looting. the rate
corruption is prevailing in this country, very soon Nigeria will have the
biggest economy on paper but not in reality. The corruption level is just
insane, like who steals more than enough to last his/her life time, i don’t
    get.

So those who are interested in voting, vote wisely. for those who will be
taking money and indomie from politicians to vote for them, i will not say
reject their offer, after all it was gotten from our tax however, when you
go and place your finger print think about how worthless they must have
seen u to offer u money and noodles to vote for them and your children
either born or unborn and the fact that those politicians are going to take
a whole lot more from you to ensure you remain poor in pocket and mentally.

Obama, thank you for the message since our own political and traditional
leaders are spending their time planning on ho to ruin us more and buy
    assets in your country :)

  10. A survival challenges I get tortured by them & by the Obams devil since 4
months & now Im stuck at home without money
