Obamacare on the chopping block? Reality of repeal starting to set in

Even though repealing Obamacare was central to Trump’s campaign, his promises to “repeal and replace” the Affordable Care Act is difficult to interpret coherently, even for Republicans. As House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wisconsin) warns of a gap in insurance coverage and incoming Health and Human Services Secretary Tom Price is eager to abolish Obamacare, Ian Walters of the American Conservative Union and radio personality Mark Simone join RT’s Ed Schultz to discuss the future of the healthcare policy.

  1. In the land of the free, it's such a great deal we're going to force you to buy it…. lol what!?!? Can't believe the American people were all like, "Yes Mr Obama I'll bend over, Yes Mr Obama stick it in a little further"

  2. you people are stupid before Obamacare to buy insurance on the open market was 300 a month that's why people were uninsured . now you'll be forced to buy even more expensive Insurance instead of buying subsidized insurance under Obamacare. Great job, back to being the only develop nation not to provide the key component of a whole measurable quality of living. the republicans never wanted healthcare. good luck with finding a replacement.

  3. I don't have or need mandatory health insurance but they penalize me come tax time. I don't get sick and haven't gone to a doctor in years…same goes for my family.

  4. What do you get with Obamacare? Oh yeah, the privilege of paying $500-1000 a month and still have $10,000 deductible so you are paying for nothing.
