Obama Heads To Asia To Increase Trade

In an effort to increase economic and security cooperation while pay respects to the region, President Barack Obama is headed out for a weeklong trip to Asia. The President will visit Vietnam and Japan- where he will go on a historic visit to Hiroshima. During his trip, Obama plans to make a big push for the 12 nation trans-pacific trade agreement. The deal is currently stalled in congress, but Obama hopes to increase trans-pacific trade and make it easier for US companies to compete in Asia.
