Germany: ‘No to German NSA’ – Activists protest mass surveillance bill in Berlin

SOT, Christian Mihr, Reporters Without Borders executive (German): “Our government doesn’t seem to care about our criticism as faction leaders refused to accept 20,000 signatures of similar petitions against the reforms of the [BND] law. We will however try to deliver them [signatures] to the Bundestag. We, as we stand together here, will not give up nevertheless. We will fight and will continue to defend ourselves against a mass surveillance apparatus restricting human rights, fundamental rights.”
