  1. China should not trust Trump and his administration. The U.S. is trying to set up economic trap for China to fall in so that the U.S. can rip China off financially

  2. CRRC a Chinese rail service company is already building a factory in the US for the purpose of building trains. Okay it's subway cars not high speed trains but the door is open and business looks good with several states already placing orders. Hopefully it will be a great endeavor for both countries.

  3. Chinese mega projects always hire local labor. But I don't think many Americans would like that job since building high-speed railway in such vast area is very hard and doesn't pay well and the union is going to unnecessarily complicate everything. Nonetheless, it seems Chao isn't interested in working with the Chinese. Perhaps Trump can bully a deal out of Abe.
