June has not been a great month for Donald Trump. But on Thursday, he appeared to be back in top form. He gave a speech in New Hampshire talking about one of his favorite topics: trade deals. He positioned himself as the defender of the American economy. He even accused Democrats of selling the American economy over to foreign financiers. Trump pushed these foreign trade deals as damaging the average American worker, and blamed trade agreements for the longer hours and lower pay that most Americans face. His campaign staff was also on point again, dumping documents that supported Trump’s claims about the economy.
